Polyurethane-laminated fabrics are delicate knit or terry fabrics, bonded to a polyurethane membrane on the back side. Thanks to this unique combination, these waterproof fabrics are pleasant to the touch while also providing an effective barrier against fluids and microbes. They work perfectly as a waterproof mattress protector, where the breathable properties of polyurethane on the back side and a soft cotton terry or bamboo knit fabric on the right side, ensure comfort and safety for the user while also protecting the mattress. Furthermore, a laminate combining polyurethane with a thick molton fabric can serve as a tablecloth underlay, protecting the table from spilled liquids, mechanical damage, and high-temperature tableware.
Waterproof jerseys and terry, with PU membrane, are also widely used in hotel environment, medical and clothing industries, where their resistance to frequent sterilization and washing at high temperatures is highly valued.
